JOHN STEVENS is an experienced, accomplished letter artist with decades of professional experience. He is renowned for his versatility and excellence as a calligrapher and letter artist, resulting in a wide range of exemplary work. Clients include Columbia University, Yale, Gallo Winery, Media, Food, etc. (other clients).
In recent years, he has featured “live” classes online, oftentimes attended by people from 32 countries per class.

He has authored two of his books:
Scribe: Artist of the Written Word, published in 2013 to critical acclaim. His newest book, Mastering Brush Roman Capitals, was published in June 2024. He has also contributed articles to many books on lettering and calligraphy.
