In a few weeks, we’ll meet for our workshop. There are a few suggestions I would like to make as a reminder beforehand. If you have my Brush Roman book, I recommend bringing it. (Pictured below)

Materials/ Brushes are pictured at left. W&N 995 is a good all-around choice, but you may want other sizes. The round-ferrule on the right (black handle) is good to have as you may want to work smaller.
Materials Fee: $30. (payable first day)
I am bringing another workbook as well. It has work/assignments not in the Brush book. I am also bringing Kraft practice paper.
You will need to bring whats on the supplies list, but also need Gouache (Black) and a palette. You may want to bring any other colors you like.
Optional: Bring quality paper you would like to work on.
We will work on Brush letters, some design and Text (with pens). We may even do a pointed pen segment.
There may be other incidentals, but I will post them later.

I recommend this Raphael (at left) or a Winsor&Newton 995, 1/2 inch.
